When attending a cruise, event or take over.
we post blind contact QR codes on the door of our room.
When we travel outside of North America we only travel with a "Global Data Plan"
Which is why we prefer to use WhatsApp but we do use (in order of our preference):
a) WhatsApp, b) Cell text, c) Instagram, d) Facebook Messenger, e) Signal, f) Telegram
We currently maintain a cell for texting when roaming in the US. (we are seriously considering dropping it,
as with our international travels we pretty much use WhatsApp or other social media)
